    ION MIJA: UN NUME DE REFERINŢĂ ÎN FILMUL DOCUMENTAR DIN REPUBLICA MOLDOVA

    In the year of 2018 there is celebrated the 80th anniversary of film director Ion Mija’s birth. Being a filmamker of vocation, he has manifested his creative talent at both cinematographic studios in our town:"Telefilm-Chişinău" and "Moldova-film". Despite harsh circumstances of our troubled cultural history, with an indisputable talent and dedication, the director Ion Mija has made a major contribution to the professional identity of the "Telefilm- Chişinău" studio. The following article contains a film analysis of his audiovisual creation, considering the time context when the director made his works - a period when the propaganda rhetoric, the ideological constraints and the triumphal visions of life were fully manifested.
