ANALIZA BIOCHIMICĂ A ACTIVITĂŢII CATALAZEI LA UN GRUP DE BACTERII IZOLATE DIN APA LACURILOR „LA IZVOR”
(CEP USM, 2024) Balan, Ludmila; Slanina, Valerina; Bogdan-Golubi, Nina
Determination of bacterial enzyme activity is widely studied in recent years both through biochemical and molecular analysis. Catalase, peroxidase and superoxide dismutase are con sidered an important antioxidant enzymes that prevents cellular damage by the action of free radicals. The researches have been carried out to study catalase activity in biomass of some bacterial strains isolated from the lakes of the “La Izvor” park. The results of the study show that out of 20 strains 17 are catalase-producing bacteria, where Bacillus safensis CNMN-BB-26 and Pseudomonas poae CNMN-Ps-09 are active strains with values of 228,94 and 270,16 mmol/min/ mg protein, respectively, Bacillus velezensis CNMN-BB-14 produced the highest value of 380,68 mmol/min/mg protein.

Tulpina pseudomonas fluorescens CNMN-PSB-02 cu efect stimulator asupra grâului comun de toamnă
(CEP USM, 2024) Balan, Ludmila; Slanina, Valerina; Bogdan-Golubi, Nina
Lack of mineral fertilizers in the soil, adverse weather conditions such as drought and high temperatures, faced by our country today, but also the negative effects of fungal diseases, cause harvest losses. Our research focused on the development of biotechnological solutions for agriculture by obtaining of plant growth stimulators. The present study showed the influence of Pseudomonas fluorescens CNMN-PsB-02 on the growth stimulation of wheat plants the height increased twice, mass of plants by 3,6 times and root mass increased by 2,5 times.
