    TRANSLATION OF WEBSITES OF STATE INSTITUTIONS AND ORGANIZATIONS IN THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA

    This article investigates the translations of websites belonging to state institutions and organizations in the Republic of Moldova. First the legal framework and requirements are surveyed. Then the number of linguistic versions provided, the degree of maintenance of website content in multiple languages are examined, followed by a brief discussion of the main issues in translation of websites of state institutions and organizations in the Republic of Moldova. The methodology incorporates elements of quantitative and qualitative approaches.
