    Ecological techniques for stimulating plant germination at subatmospheric pressures and carbon nanoclusters [Articol]

    This study examined the impact of ecological stimulation on wheat and maize seeds under low-pressure conditions, using a composite material with C20-C60 carbon nanoclusters. Seeds harvested in 2022 and maintained under standard conditions showed significant improvements compared to the control group when subjected to combined biostimulation at reduced pressure and immersion in a carbon nanocluster solution. Germination time was shortened, with germination capacity increasing by 35% for Zea mays L. and 15% for Triticum aestivum L. These findings suggest that nanotechnology could enhance seed performance, supporting sustainable agriculture and meeting the rising demand for healthy, sustainably produced food.

    Excitonic and radiative effects in GaSe-C60 structures [Articol]

    The absorption and photoluminescence spectra of GaSe intercalated in C60 fullerene has been investigated at 293 K and 78 K. C60 and C60-toluene molecules intercalated in-between GaSe stratified “packing” cause the appearance of localized levels revealed in low energy wing of n=1 excitonic of the absorption and determine the exciton-phonon interaction. It has been established that C60 and C60 -toluene molecules form new recombination levels in GaSe crystals and determine the 1.7÷1.75 eV photoluminescence band.

    Influenţa factorilor fizici asupra creşterii culturilor de grâu şi porumb [Articol]

    În lucrare sunt prezentate rezultatele cercetărilor referitoare la stimularea procesului de germinare şi creştere prin tratarea seminţelor cu radiaţie laser, lumină polarizată, ozon, clusteri de carbon şi tratarea termică la temperatura azotului lichid (-196°C). Pentru seminţele supuse încercărilor umiditatea efectivă de 6-10% a fost stabilită prin metoda sublimă rii în vid la presiunea de 10-2 Torri. Pentru încercări experimentale în lucrare este utilizată apă prelucrată termic în limitele de temperatură -18÷20°C. În calitate de stimulator se evidenţiază posibilitatea utilizării tratamentului termic până la temperaturi suprajoase, cu viteza de răcire de 10-90°C/s şi de încălzire a acestora în flux de aer cald la temperatura de 40°C.

    METODE DE STIMULARE A ACTIVITĂȚII BIOLOGICE A CULTURILOR AGRICOLE CU FACTORI FIZICI

    The paper presents the technology and results of the biostimulation of some species of agricultural crops with physical factors, such as laser radiation of 532 and 628 nm, acoustic frequencies within the range of 0.1-9 kHz, low-intensity electric fields, ozonated liquids and immersion with composite materials , based on carbon nanoclusters, clay and lignocellulose. Studies have shown that physical factors, which are harmless, can offer unique advantages for seed processing, along with addressing growing concerns about the use of harmful pesticides. Thus, seed biostimulation with physical factors improved the germination energy and germination rate by up to 35% compared to the control group.

    UAV-based measuring station for monitoring and computational modeling of environmental factors [Articol]

    Software application for computational modeling of environmental factors, in connection with UAV -based measuring station for environmental factors monitoring in realtime regime precise measurements [1], which facilitates the analysis and interpretation of the monitoring results, has been developed as an integrated mobile system for exact monitoring and computational modeling of environmental factors. This paper deals with the second stage related to the drone-dedicated system developed at the Moldova State University (MSU) in the research laboratory Environmental Physics and Modeling Complex Systems (MSU ePhysMCS Lab) for the observation and support of the air analysis for pollution, chemical and radiological contaminations [2]. The exact data are used in modeling of the impact of biotic and abiotic factors during the real-time environmental monitoring process.
