The use of pheromone compositions with the addition of the minor component in increasing concentrations to the base composition of the oriental fruit moth sex pheromone on dispensers resulted in an amplification of the biological effectiveness by increasing the capture of males in pheromone traps by about 48% in experimental tests in the plum orchard .Item Sinteza și cercetarea proprietăților farmacofore ale unor N-(dimetilfenil) hidrazincarbotioamide [Articol](2023) Erhan, Tatiana; Garbuz, Olga; Ungur, Nicon; Gulea, AurelianThe present study was focused on the synthesis of some N-(dimethylphenyl)hydrazine carbothioamides 1-4, that contain the following N-substituents: 2,4-dimethylphenyl; 2,5-dimethylphenyl; 2,6-dimethylphenyl; 3,4-dimethylphenyl, to increase lipophilicity and N-(dimethylphenyl)-2-(pyridin-2-ylmethylidene)hydrazinecarbothioamides 5-8, analogous of Triapine. The structural formula of the compounds was characterized by means of spectroscopy: FT-IR, 1H-, and 13CRMN, and the molecular structure, for the first time, by means of X-ray diffraction. The study of antioxidant activity has shown that all compounds 1-8 are powerful antioxidants. N-(dimethylphenyl)-2-(pyridin2-ylmethylidene)hydrazinecarbothioamides 5-8 were tested as inhibitors of MCF-7 (breast cancer) cell proliferation. It was found that all the compounds exhibit activity comparable to that of Doxorubicin, among them the compound N-(2,5-dimethylphenyl)-2-(pyridin-2-ylmethylidene)hydrazinecarbothioamide 6, with IC50=0.8 μM/L, demonstrated the highest activity.Item Sinteza și studiul unor N'-(n-dimetilfenil)-N,N-dimetiltiourei și N(4)-n-dimetilfenil-tiosemicarbazide [Articol](CEP USM, 2017) Erhan, Tatiana; Garbuz, Olga; Gulea, AurelianÎn lucrare este descrisă sinteza și activitatea antiproliferativă a 6 tiourei și a 6 tiosemicarbazide. Puritatea și identitatea compușilor obținuți a fost confirmată cu ajutorul spectroscopiei1H și 13C RMN, IR, cromatografieipe strat subțire CSS și al temperaturii de topire.Toate substanțele sintetizate au fost testate in vitro, pentru activitatea antiproliferativă pe liniile celulare umane de cancer, și anume: carcinom cervical (HeLa), carcinom pancreatic (BxPc-3), rhabdomiosarcomă(RD) și celule sănătoase de MDCK. De asemenea,sunt evaluatecă caile de amplificare a proprietăților lor biologice, fiind scoase în evidență proprietățile antiproliferative asupra liniilor de celule de cancer,precum HeLa, MCD-7, SW620, MiaPaCa-2 și Hep-2,și proprietățile antimicrobiene, care pot servi drept bază pentru obținerea de noi inhibitori performanți în terapia anticancer.
