ИНТЕГРАЦИОННЫЕ ПРОЦЕССЫ В ЕВРОПЕ: ИСПЫТАНИЕ ПАНДЕМИЕЙ
(CEP USM, 2020) Sorocean, Olga; Dilan, Nelly
The global sanitary crisis necessitates profound changes in the institutions, priorities and forms of life of society, capable of ensuring the survival and development of civilization. The pandemic was a trigger that reflected both the resistance to stress of individual states - the ability to adapt (resilience) and the quality of the EU's response to emergencies. The modern world, having received the sad lessons of national egoism at the start of the epidemic, is increasingly realizing the need to exchange experience, common solidarity and responsibility of all states in ensuring stress resistance and adaptation to turbulent and unpredictable situations. In the integration processes, profound transformations are also inevitable in the interests of universal security and sustainable development. The concept of “broad integration” will allow the Eastern European countries, incl. and the Republic of Moldova, without political confrontation and more effectively use their geographical position ("connecting bridge", "transport corridor") and national advantages in the system of international division of labor.
