Item ANALIZA BIOCHIMICĂ A ACTIVITĂŢII CATALAZEI LA UN GRUP DE BACTERII IZOLATE DIN APA LACURILOR „LA IZVOR”(CEP USM, 2024) Balan, Ludmila; Slanina, Valerina; Bogdan-Golubi, NinaDetermination of bacterial enzyme activity is widely studied in recent years both through biochemical and molecular analysis. Catalase, peroxidase and superoxide dismutase are con sidered an important antioxidant enzymes that prevents cellular damage by the action of free radicals. The researches have been carried out to study catalase activity in biomass of some bacterial strains isolated from the lakes of the “La Izvor” park. The results of the study show that out of 20 strains 17 are catalase-producing bacteria, where Bacillus safensis CNMN-BB-26 and Pseudomonas poae CNMN-Ps-09 are active strains with values of 228,94 and 270,16 mmol/min/ mg protein, respectively, Bacillus velezensis CNMN-BB-14 produced the highest value of 380,68 mmol/min/mg protein.Item Antagonistic activity of bacterial isolates against fusarium pathogens(CEP USM, 2024) Bîrsa, Maxim; Balan, Ludmila; Bogdan-Golubi, Nina; Moldovan, CristinaActinobacteria and bacteria stored in NCNM were tested against F. oxysporum CNMN-FF-06 and F. solani CNMN-FF-07. In case of antagonistic activity against F. solani, results were much higher in comparison with F. oxysporum, ranged between 12.3 – 19.3 mm. The highest result of antifungal activity of bacteria against F. oxysporum was registered for the strain Bacillus velezensis CNMN-BB-16 (25.0 mm). For F. solani, the highest result was registered for the strain Micrococcus yunnanensis CNMN-BM-19 (33.0 mm). Results of the present research had shown that biocontrol agents can be used as an alternative for chemical pesticides utilized against phytopathogenic fungi.Item Tulpina pseudomonas fluorescens CNMN-PSB-02 cu efect stimulator asupra grâului comun de toamnă(CEP USM, 2024) Balan, Ludmila; Slanina, Valerina; Bogdan-Golubi, NinaLack of mineral fertilizers in the soil, adverse weather conditions such as drought and high temperatures, faced by our country today, but also the negative effects of fungal diseases, cause harvest losses. Our research focused on the development of biotechnological solutions for agriculture by obtaining of plant growth stimulators. The present study showed the influence of Pseudomonas fluorescens CNMN-PsB-02 on the growth stimulation of wheat plants the height increased twice, mass of plants by 3,6 times and root mass increased by 2,5 times.
