    This article presents a virtual Gallery of the contemporary art offers the possibility to get acquainted with the creation of Plastic and Decorative Arts of the territory of Republic of Moldova. The aim of the Gallery does not consishe exhaustive presentation of all genres, types and species of visual arts existing in Moldova, but to give some important reference points from the recent history of arts of the Prut-Nistrean regions and to present succinctly by images the creation structures of a group of artists of Republic of Moldova belonging to the last three-four generations. At the same time with Gorbaciov's "perestroika" (transparency), towards the end of the 80-es and the beginning of 90-es a vast process of liberalization was noted in the sphere of visual arts, censorship and the administrative interdictions to create or to exhibit works of art.

    ÎNVĂŢĂMÂNTUL ŞI ŞTIINŢA – DOMENIUL PRINCIPAL AL COLABORĂRII CULTURALE DINTRE REPUBLICA MOLDOVA ŞI ROMÂNIA (1991-2005)

    The main directions of international relations of Republic of Moldova in the education field are to participate in students, pupils and masters’ exchange, joint scientific researches, international and interregional education programs, as well as take an active part in their work. Pursuant to the efficient activity of the Ministry of Education, Republic of Moldova has joined to the number of international conventions in the education field. Moreover, the Ministry has launched an effective cooperation with international organizations as well. Developing special relations with Republic of Moldova will be based on a European-oriented partnership, both political, cultural and educational. Romania will bilaterally promote a number of instruments, including encouraging and ensuring the Romanian investments in Republic of Moldova, granting assistance through official development assistance funds, bilateral projects stimulating cooperation in education, science, culture etc.

Conservation of Romanian folk music has been aided by a large and enduring audience, and by numerous performers who helped propagate and further develop the folk sound, and not only.

    The Partnership between Tourism and Cultural Museum heritage examines the relationship between the Republic of Moldova and Romania (1991-2005) that represent opposite sides of the cultural tourism coin. While tourism professionals assess cultural assets for their profit potential, cultural heritage professionals judge the same assets for their intrinsic value. This article presents a model for a working partnership between the two sides that offers with mutual benefits, integrating management theory and practice from both disciplines.

    TENDINŢ E EUROPENE ÎN ASIGURAREA CALITĂŢII CULTURII ŞI EDUCAŢIEI ÎN REPUBLICA MOLDOVA ŞI ROMÂNIA

    The Council of Ministers of the Council of Europe proclaimed 2005 “European Year of Citizenship through Education”. The Council of Europe wishesd to highlight how crucial education is to the development of citizenship and the quality of participation in cultural and public life, notably of the young generation. The present study makes a thorough analysis of the cultural - academic relations between Moldova and Romania in the years following the fall of communism in Eastern Europe. Education is a formidable instrument for co–operation with European neighbours. The European Cultural Convention offers to neighbouring countries a framework for partenership based on common principles, as well as knowledge, experience and practical instruments for managing educational diversity.
