PARENTALITATEA MASCULINĂ ŞI DEPRESIA

Abstract

The paper highlights the specific of postpartum depression from double perspective of parenthood: motherhood and fatherhood. The results of the research presented in the paper reveal that postpartum depression as a phenomenon specific both to female and male. The male’s postpartum depression is caracterised by: anxiety, panic, fear, sense of guilt, sense of exclusion from the relation mother-child, sense of failure, distress, tendency to infidelity.

Articolul scoate în evidenţă specificul depresiei postnatale din perspectiva maternităţii şi a paternităţii. Rezultatele cercetării prezentate în articol relevă că depresia postpartum reprezintă un fenomen psihologic caractersitic nu doar femeilor, ci şi bărbaţilor. Depresia postnatală a subiecţilor de sex masculin se manifestă prin îngrijorare, panică, anxietate, frică, sentiment de culpabilitate, sentiment de excludere din relaţia mamă-bebeluş, sentiment de eşuare, stres, tendinţă spre infidelitate.
