REFLECȚII PSIHANALITICE PRIVIND DIAGNOSTICUL DIFERENȚIAL. CAZUL DOSTOIEVSKI: ISTERIE VERSUS EPILEPSIE

Abstract

Lucrarea prezintă analiza reflecțiilor freudiene privind procedura diagnosticului diferențial isterie versus epilepsie. Isteria și epilepsia pot avea o zonă simptomatică de suprapunere și de aici derivă necesitatea unei analize riguroase a acestor fenomene clinice. În articol este invocat cazul Dostoievski, fiind cunoscut faptul că scriitorul suferea de epilepsie. Ipoteza freudiană asupra acestui caz anulează diagnosticul de epilepsie și include atacurile epileptice ale lui Dostoievski în categoria tulburărilor isterice. În articol, ipotezele freudiene asupra acestui caz sunt raportate la criteriile actuale în diagnosticul diferențial isterie–epilepsie. Această problematică mai rămâne o preocupare a cercetătorilor și la etapa actuală, dată fiind capacitatea isteriei de a se adapta epocilor, schemelor nosologice, tratamentului etc.

The paper presents the analysis of Freudian reflections on the procedure of differential diagnosis of hysteria versus epilepsy. Hysteria and epilepsy may have a symptomatic overlapping area and hence the need for a rigorous analysis of these clinical phenomena. The article refers to the Dostoevsky՚s case, knowing that the writer suffered from epilepsy. The Freudian hypothesis on this case cancels the diagnosis of epilepsy and considers Dostoevsky's epileptic attacks a hysterical manifestation. In the article, Freudian hypotheses on this case are related to the current criteria in the differential diagnosis of hysteria-epilepsy. This issue remains a concern of the researchers at the present moment, cause of the ability of hysteria to adapt to epochs, nosologic schemes and treatments.
