REFLECȚII ASUPRA UNOR ASPECTE ALE FILOSOFIEI CONTEMPORANE

Abstract

O privire de ansamblu asupra gândirii filosofice contemporane ne-ar relata un tablou pestriț de orientări cu o diversitate de contraste și contradicții care s-au accentuat în așa măsură, încât gânditorii nu se mai mulțumesc să argumenteze unii împotriva celorlalți, așa cum o făceau altă dată, ci merg mai departe, ajungând să susțină că ceea ce fac alții nu mai este filosofie. Privirea de la distanță asupra filosofiei ne dă posibilitatea să desprindem câteva moduri de a regândi un șir de probleme și de a repera un număr mai redus de răspunsuri posibile. Este știut lucru, că filosofia fără „filosofare” nu are sens, de aceea orice abordare a filosofiei implică efortul intelectual al dezbaterilor și deci al exercitării active a rațiunii și libertății. La etapa actuală, filosofia s-a sustras uneia din sarcinile sale și nu a reflectat cu suficientă profunzime și nici cu suficientă precizie asupra progresului științei și tehnicii. Ea nu i-a ajutat pe contemporanii noștri, fie datorită aroganței sau a unui complex de inferioritate, să devină conștienți de nivelul spiritual și cultural, de progresul care le-a transformat universul și societățile, în așa fel încât acesta să fie înțeles și asimilat. În schimb, s-au dezvoltat diverse științe umane și sociale, care au ca obiect omul. Nu omul ca simplu fragment al naturii, ci omul subiect și obiect al istoriei, care contribuie la determinarea formei societății, care are o conștiință de sine, care se știe muritor, reflectează la soarta și menirea lui.An overview of contemporary philosophical thinking would tell us a motley picture of orientations with a diversity of contrasts and contradictions that have intensified to such an extent that thinkers are no longer content to argue one against the other, as they once did, but go even further, coming to claim that what others do is no longer philosophy. Looking at philosophy from a distance gives us the possibility to pick out some ways of rethinking a set of problems and spot a smaller number of possible answers. It is known that philosophy without "philosophizing" has no meaning, therefore any approach to philosophy involves the intellectual effort of debates and therefore of the active exercise of reason and freedom. At the current stage, philosophy has evaded one of its tasks and has not reflected with sufficient depth nor with sufficient precision on the progress of science and technology. It did not help our contemporaries, either due to arrogance or an inferiority complex, to become aware of the spiritual and cultural levels, of the progress that transformed their universe and societies, in such a way that it was understood and assimilated. Instead, various human and social sciences have developed, which have the man as their object. Not the man as a mere fragment of nature, but the man who is the subject and the object of history, who contributes to determining the form of society, who has self-awareness, who knows himself to be mortal, reflects on his fate and purpose.
