TULBURĂRI AFECTIVE ÎN EPILEPSIE

Abstract

Este recunoscut faptul că depresia și anxietatea sunt cele mai frecvente comorbidități psihiatrice în epilepsie. În acest articol ne-am propus să evaluăm prezența simptomelor de depresie și anxietate la persoanelecu epilepsie. Au fost evaluate 109 persoane adulte cu epilesie. Studiul s-a desfășurat pe parcursul anului 2019 în cadrul IMSP Institutul de Medicină Urgentă, Centrul Național de Epileptologie.Persoanele au fost evaluate cu ajutorul Inventarului de Depresie Beck (21 itemi) și alScalei de evaluarea anxietății Hamilton. Studiul nostru a demonstrat că aproximativ jumătate din numărul de persoane cu epilepsie suferă de depresie și anxietate. Rata depresiei și anxietății este mai înaltă la femei decât la bărbați. Totodată, prezența simptomelor de anxietate și de depresie la persoanele neangajate este dublă comparativ cu persoanele cu epilepsie angajate în câmpul muncii.

It is recognized that depression and anxiety are the most common psychiatric comorbidities in epilepsy. In this article we aimed to assess the presence of depression and anxiety symptoms in people with epilepsy. We assessed 109 adults with epilepsy. The study took place atthe National Centre of Epileptologyin 2019. Individuals were assessed using the Beck Depression Inventory (21 items) and the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAM-A). Our study demonstrated that about half of people with epilepsy suffer from depression and anxiety. The rate of depression and anxiety is higher in women than in men. Nevertheless, the presence of anxiety and depression symptoms in the unemployed persons is double compared to the employed people with epilepsy.
