INTERFERENȚELE DINTRE ATITUDINILE FAȚĂ DE PARENTALITATE ȘI INTENȚIILE REPRODUCTIVE LA TINERI

Abstract

Prezenta lucrare este centrată pe interferențele dintre atitudinile față de parentalitate si intențiile reproductive la tinerii din Republica Moldova. Datele sunt interpretate prin intermediul cadrului teoretic și empiric al Teoriei Comportamentului Planificat. Rezultatele sugerează că normele subiective, atitudinile față de parentalitate și controlul perceput al comportamentului sunt relevante pentru apariția și realizarea intențiilor reproductive. De asemenea, este evidențiat aportul factorilor psihologici pe acest segment. Sunt atestate anumite diferențe între bărbați și femei la nivelul intențiilor reproductive, însă cantitativ atât intențiile bărbaților, cât și a femeilor sunt dictate de factori nu doar sociologici și economici, dar și psihologici.

This paper is focused on the interferences between attitudes towards parenthood and reproductive intentions among young people from the Republic of Moldova. The data are interpreted using the theoretical and empirical framework of the Theory of Planned Behavior. The results suggest that subjective norms, attitudes towards parenthood and perceived behavioral control are relevant to the emergence and realization of reproductive intentions. The contribution of psychological factors to this segment is also highlighted. Certain differences between men and women in terms of reproductive intentions are attested, but quantitatively both men's and women's intentions are dictated by factors not only sociological and economic, but also psychological ones.
