INTERVENȚII ÎN SITUAȚII DE CRIZĂ PRIN INTERMEDIUL CONSILIERII DE GRUP

Abstract

This study analyses the types of traumas the Ukrainian refugees are experiencing and the different ways they tried and succeeded to adapt to the new reality of their life. Thereby we present a group counselling program aimed to increase, as much as possible, participants’ resilience to their terrible traumas and to provide them as well with several methods to accept the reality as to identify adaptive solutions. The target group was preponderant feminine: single mothers with children, with uncertain or undefined future projections. Due to the results of this approach, we can be confident that the assistance provided now will help them in overcoming other potential challenges in their lives.
