IMPACTUL SĂRĂCIEI ASUPRA SITUAŢIEI VÂRSTNICILOR (CAZUL SATUL BARDAR, RAIONUL IALOVENI)

Abstract

Achieving the goal of this work led to a real picture of the situation of older people in Moldova. Absolute poverty in 2012 was 4.5% and 0.3% extreme poverty, elderly, large families, people with disabilities, etc.. being the most affected by the social problem. In the village Bardar Ialoveni literally all elderly (9.7%) face various problems arising from poverty. Small pensions are the only monthly income that old people have and they need to divide it to pay for utilities, water, gas, food and medicine. This demonstrates that the elderly are a vulnerable group in society that need protection from the state by reducing the phenomenon of poverty at the national and territorial then creating a new system of social protection. The new system will protect all vulnerable to poverty and will increase the people what they can provide a decent living.
