| dc.description.abstract | The spouse choice is an important decision, a result of a complex process, which is not always perceived and objective, based especially on awareness of feelings, but essentially influenced by parents, friends, and society. If in the archaic and traditional societies, marriage was a very prosaic business that met the interests of the family, now, because of economic, political, socio-cultural factors, the choice of a life partner is becoming more a problem of the concerned individual. Whether we admit it or not, each of us made a list, most frequently imaginary, with the potential qualities of a person who could be beside us, a list that refers to appearance, financial status, personality features, beliefs and values. Most often we tend to be attracted to people with interests and values close to ours. | en |
