IMPACTUL NOILOR TEHNOLOGII INFORMAȚIONALE ASUPRA DEZVOLTĂRII DURABILE A SOCIETĂȚII

Abstract

În contextul unei societăți informaționale suntem puși în fața faptului de a ne adapta unor noi condiții care se află într-o dinamică continuă și în același timp de a pastra echilibrul foarte fragil al planetei. În acest articol se evidențiază atât provocările, dar și oportunitățile ce apar odată cu evoluția tehnologică și cum trebuie gestionate acestea în înfăptuirea unei dezvoltări durabile. Dezvoltarea durabilă în societatea informațională se poate înfăptui în primul rând printr-o educație de calitate. Tehnologiile informaționale adresează domeniului educației provocări în două direcții: oferă instrumente inovative ce facilitează procesul de predare-învățare și dezvoltă abilitatea de a cunoaște, opera și analiza tehnologiile informaționale. Astfel, laturile ,,noilor educații” printre care se regăsește și educaţia pentru tehnologie şi progres, constituie un răspuns la necesitățile subliniate, datorită intervențiilor didactice și extradidactice posibile de realizat, ceea ce se pliază pe obiectivele dezvoltării durabile. Fiecare actor social, la nivel individual sau colectiv, acționând din direcția specifică domeniului de activitate, poate contribui nemijlocit la diminuarea asocierilor negative ale tehnologiilor informaționale și la valorificarea maximală a celor pozitive.

In the context of an information society we are faced with the fact of adapting to new conditions that are in a continuous dynamic and at the same time preserve the very fragile balance of the planet. This article highlights both the challenges and the opportunities that arise with technological evolution and how they must be managed to achieve sustainable development. Sustainable development in the information society can be achieved primarily through quality education. Information technologies address challenges in the field of education in two directions: they offer innovative tools that facilitate the teaching-learning process and develop the ability to know, operate, and analyze information technologies. Thus, the sides of the “new education”, among which education for technology and progress can be found, are a response to the highlighted needs, thanks to the didactic and extra-didactic interventions that can be carried out, which are based on the objectives of sustainable development. Each social actor, at an individual or collective level, acting from the direction specific to the field of activity, can contribute directly to the reduction of negative associations of information technologies and the maximum utilization of positive ones.
