Abstract
The mass media have an important role in educating young people. The mass media
messages represent a true learning resources that contribute to the multilateral development
of young people’s personality and their effective integration into society. The author
analyze how through mass media, young people manage to acquire numerous knowledge of
general culture, to enrich their vocabulary, to develop their thinking and mental functions,
to form their distributive attention, to form certain moral and aesthetic feelings.
