Abstract

Vârsta a treia reprezintă un proces de adaptare la schimbările survenite odată cu îmbătrânirea, schimbări de ordin medical, social și comunitar. Nevoile acestora sunt satisfăcute cu ajutorul serviciilor de suport oferite acestor categorii de persoane, iar îmbătrânirea devine un proces sănătos atunci când bătrânii sunt proactivi în accesarea serviciilor ce le sunt destinate și au o atitudine pozitivă față de persoanele care îi îngrijesc și față de aceste servicii.The third age represents an adaptation process to the changes that occur with aging, relative to medical, social and community issues. Their needs are met with the help of support services offered to these categories of people and aging becomes a healthy process when the elderly are proactive in accessing the services intended for them and have a positive attitude towards the people who care for them and towards these medical, social and community services.
