dc.description.abstractThe role of communication in a society has a distinct importance, the communication is a fundamental activity in the organizational / institutional life and requires as much attention and rigour as other functions. The assertive communication is the result of a set of attitudes and learned behaviours, which have like consequence, for a long time, the social relations, bettering, trust development the respect of personal rights, the formation of a healthy style of life. Both, educational managers and teacher, must know and use these assertive communication’s strategies, having the possibility to offer a guidance in the approach of social situations. In the moment when the vital skills which the assertivity incorporates, do not form and develop, are perpetuated inhibitions in the way of communication information’s expression, thoughts, feelings, distrust uncertainty, professional and social failureen
