ROLUL ȘI IMPLICAREA FAMILIEI ÎN ÎNGRIJIREA PACIENŢILOR SPITALIZAŢI ÎN SECŢIILE DE ANESTEZIE ŞI TERAPIE INTENSIVĂ

Abstract

Lucrarea de faţă îşi propune să studieze rolul şi implicarea familiei în îngrijirea pacienţilor spitalizaţi la ATI (Anestezie şi Terapie Intensivă), aceasta fiind o experienţă traumatică atât pentru pacienţi cât şi pentru familiile acestora. În primul rând, familia poate oferi sprijin emoţional pacienţilor care se pot simţi anxioşi, stresaţi şi speriaţi în timpul spitalizării la ATI. În al doilea rând, familia poate juca un rol important în comunicarea cu personalul medical, în asigurarea că pacienţii primesc informaţiile necesare privind starea lor de sănătate şi planul de tratament. În al treilea rând, pacienţii care se simt sprijiniţi de familia lor pot fi mai încrezători în propriile lor capacităţi şi pot fi mai dispuşi să se implice activ în procesul de recuperare. În concluzie, implicarea familiei în îngrijirea pacienţilor aflaţi în stare critică la ATI poate avea ca efect reducerea nivelului de anxietate şi stres al pacienţilor şi poate ajuta la evoluţia favorabilă a stării lor de sănătate.This paper aims to study the role and involvement of the family in the care of patients hospitalized in the ICU, which is a traumatic experience for both patients and their families. First and foremost, the family can provide emotional support to patients who may feel anxious, stressed and frightened during their hospitalisation in the ICU. Secondly, the family can play an important role in communicating with medical staff, ensuring that patients receive the necessary information about their health status and treatment plan. Thirdly, patients who feel supported by their family may be more confident in their own abilities and more willing to be actively involved in the recovery process. In conclusion, family involvement in the care of critically ill patients in the ICU can lead to reduced levels of anxiety and stress in patients and help to achieve a favourable outcome.
