    The given work presents a clear description of possibilities of the Moodle platform for the most important parts of the didactic process: evaluation, self-evaluation and testing practiced both well for the traditional university studies and distance-learning. Applying of the suchlike system in university studies allows not only systematic, operative and objective evaluation of the students’ knowledge but also informing about the quality of their works in the operative way and monitoring them for the most efficient assimilation of the studied mastery.

    ÎINCĂRCAREA AUTOMATĂ A GLOSARELOR ÎN S.I. MOODLE

    Following the tendencies of IT industry, the learning process nowadays becomes available though remote Internet connections, defined as distance learning (DL). Following the DL concepts, new terms and expressions are grouped in glossaries – electronically available dictionaries.But as with the most new additions, people may experience trouble, especially during the data preparation and publishing steps.The solution to this issue has been developed as a small conversion tool, that allows Microsoft Office users to simply input data in the Word or Excel environment and then convert a newly created Excel file to a Moodle XML document, that may be imported using Moodle’s web interface. Following some simple formatting rules and concepts, it will be easy to produce standards-compliant glossaries and publish them on the DL website.For better understanding, a step-by-step user guide with screenshots is provided.This work belongs to the DL series at the State University of Moldova, Distance Learning Center being a starting point for the distance learning implementation process.

    The recent public opinion poll which has been carried out in the period 12.09.2006 - 26.01.2007 at www.elearning.ro∗,proves the necessity of a greater number of information and resources for questions of use of information and telecommunication technologies (TI&C) in education (81%). The present article represents some important factors for the acceleration of reforms and more resolute integration of means TI&C in the educational system of Republic Moldova.

    ÎNVĂŢĂMÂNT ELECTRONIC DESCHIS LA DISTANŢĂ: REPERE DE ORGANIZARE ŞI FUNCŢIONARE

    The purpose of the present work is forming a generalized and integral representation about education and distance learning; about features, opportunities, freedom and advantages of the Open Distance Electronic Learning in comparison with traditional forms. The awareness of these things will promote the best understanding of processes of the distance learning by means of modern information and telecommunication technologies, and also to a substantiation of a choice of didactic strategy ODL. I hope also that this work will arouse a big interest and heightened attention from the part of chiefs of the educational units concerning questions of reforming of the educational system with the help of more resolute integration of calculating and telecommunicating means during learning and education
