Item UE ȘI PROVOCĂRILE SALE ÎN MATERIE DE SECURITATE CIBERNETICĂ(CEP USM, 2024) Andronache, Ana MariaTo respond to changing security challenges, the EU and its Member States have to strengthen cyber resilience and to develop robust cyber security and defence capabilities. Cyberspace is a rapidly developing domain and new technological developments need to be supported, both in the civilian and military domains. Last, but not least, enhancing cooperation with international partners could help enhance cybersecurity within the EU and beyond, and to promote EU principles and values. This paper aims to provide an informative primer on the relevant issues facing UE in relation to cybersecurity because cybersecurity is not optional. It must form part of the design of every product, of every database, of every electronic communication. And – through education, awareness, and proactive change – we can all play a part in securing our future. Analysis of attacks over the years has revealed that cybercriminals work together exceptionally well: sharing knowledge of exploits, selling stolen data in an open market, and working together to develop new hacking techniques for infiltration. That is why the EU needs to act on different fronts to promote cyber resilience.Item REZILIENȚA BIBLIOTECARULUI: ABILITĂȚI ȘI COMPETENȚE CHEIE PENTRU A FACE FAȚĂ CU SUCCES SCHIMBĂRII ÎN MEDIUL INFORMAȚIONAL(CEP USM, 2023) Canţîr, LiliaThe article emphasizes skills such as adaptability, the ability to make decisions and act promptly, technology and continuous learning skills, communication and collaboration skills, the ability to solve problems and manage conflict, empathy and connection with library users. The article provides concrete examples of the application of these skills and competencies, such as implementing new technologies and automation solutions, developing educational and cultural programs, collaborating with institutions for other libraries to access information and services, and managing crises and emergency situations. Finally, the author emphasizes the importance of continuing to develop these key skills and competencies to ensure that librarians can successfully meet future challenges and provide quality service to library users.
