    O NOUĂ ABORDARE A EVALUĂRII ȘTIINȚEI: UTILIZAREA INDICELUI TIMMY

    Evaluation has become an essential part of the research process, critical to measuring policy objectives, making decisions about program budgets, project selection, funding awards and career development.The article analyzes the issue of evaluating scientific research. There is no single perfect system of evaluation and respect for diversity is crucial. Capitalizing on international experience, primarily European, should be part of the evolution of the system in the Republic of Moldova. The aim should be to introduce new indicators (or adapt old ones) that help to better disclose quality and that are transparent and fit the purpose of the assessment, while maintaining a concrete system based on the principle of objectivity. In this sense, the use of an indicator for the evaluation of national scientific organizations is proposed.

Pentru o mai bună înțelegere a comportamentului şi a acțiunilor pe arena politică, vom relua în sinteză o serie de studii şi reflecţii asupra rolului şi locului Federaţiei Ruse în sistemul relaţiilor internaţionale la începutul sec. XXI. Realizarea acestor cercetări a însumat uzaje diferite. Acest articol analizează istoriografia cercetării intereselor geostrategice, locul şi rolul Federației Ruse pe arena internațională şi în literatura de specialitate internațională.

    IMAGINEA POLIŢIEI ÎN RÂNDURILE POPULAŢIEI DIN REPUBLICA MOLDOVA

    A positive image of the police bodies represents an essential precondition in consolidating the population’s trust in the State’s institutions. The sociological researces reveal a medium / low level of populations’ trust in police, in the framework of a high level of corruption, of the political instability and as an effect of political events of April 2009. Accordingly, the consolidation of the police’ credibility in the eyes of the Moldovan society becomes of an urgent necessity. The present article tries to study both the general image of the police in the society, and the factors which can decisively influence this general image. The purpose of this research consists in offering some concrete measures which would improve the police image in the local society.
