    Professional development plays an important role in ensuring the quality of human resources in public administration, and this, in turn, is a key factor in the quality of public services provided to citizens. In recent decades, scientific and technical progress has permeated all spheres of human activity, professional development being no exception. In this context, the digitization of professional development services is becoming more common. The Institute of Public Administration within the State University of Moldova uses the learniN platform for remote training of civil servants. The E-Government Agency uses the Mlearn Government Distance Learning Platform. In the future, learnIN could be integrated into Mlearn.

    ADMINISTRAȚIA PUBLICĂ PREGĂTITĂ PENTRU ERA DIGITALĂ PRIN DIGITALIZAREA SERVICIILOR PUBLICE

    Public administration is already prepared for the digital age by digitizing public services. It is gratifying that, evaluating the digitization process in the Republic of Moldova, the degree of digitization is continuously increasing. The process of digital transformation at the level of government institutions began in 2006, with the approval of the e-Government Concept. The Government of the Republic of Moldova launched the process of e-Transformation of governance in 2010, with the creation of the Electronic Governance Center, a public institution under the State Chancellery, with the aim of improving governance through the intensive application of information technologies. In 2018, as a result of measures to consolidate data centers in the public sector and to rationalize the administration of information systems by the Government, the name of the public institution „Electronic Government Center (e-Government)” was changed to the public institution „Agency of Electronic Government”.
