    Denationalization and assimilation processes of the population in Transnistria during Tsarist and Soviet domination recorded higher rates than in Bessarabia. Geopolitical and Geostrategic interests of imperial political forces were the primary causes of Transnistrian conflict. This conflict differs radically from other conflicts in the former Soviet Union (Nagorno-Karabakh, Abkhazia, South Ossetia). It has no ethnic and religious connotation, being only a political and geopolitical. In the article be low, we analyse the role of the Moldovan political of Russian troops from the territory of the Republic of Moldova, de facto wanted the presence of the 14th Army on its territory. The conclusion, in the 30 years, Moldovan diplomacy, Moldova and Russia. according to opinion polls, the issue of illegal Russian military presence in Moldova oscillates between the eighth and tenth percent in the hierarchy of the most pressing problems facing Moldovan society and of the most important instruments of Kremlin’s control over the Republic of Moldova.
