Item CHALLENGES OF THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA ON ITS WAY TO THE EU ACCESSION(CEP USM, 2024) Morari, CristinaThe purpose of this article is to analyze the Republic of Moldova’s way to EU accession trough identification of existing external and internal challenges that can affect somehow the process. It is an analytical study that is based on an interdisciplinary approach. The methods used in this research paper are documents analysis, alongside with review of academic literature, civil society studies and media sources. Also were applied observation, systemic approach and event-analysis methods. In this way are identified external challenges as EU factor, regional security context, external influences. Through internal challenges are analyzed the reform process, capacity to keep the pace of European integration process and Transnistrian conflict.Item REPUBLICA MOLDOVA ŞI GEORGIA DUPĂ SEMNAREA ACORDULUI DE ASOCIERE CU UNIUNEA EUROPEANĂ: REALITĂŢI ŞI PERSPECTIVE(CEP USM, 2014) Morari, CristinaItem EUROPEAN INTEGRATION OF THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA AT PRESENT TIME: REALITIES AND TENDENCIES(CEP USM, 2016) Morari, CristinaThe article presents an analysis of the role of the European integration process of the Republic of Moldova at current stage and it was supported by the Marie Curie International Research Staff Exchange Scheme Fellowship within the 7th European Community Framework Programme. The European integration of the Republic of Moldova is a complex process and it was supposed to some difficulties due to the political and economic instability that country experience. Thus, the author highlights the main priorities that should be undertaken to advance the European integration of the country: 1) implementation of Association Agreement; 2) carrying out of reforms; 3) Transnistrian conflict resolution; 4) consolidation of the civic society role in the process of European integration; 5) assurance of social cohesion and promotion of information campaign for the population.Item WESTERN BALKAN COUNTRIES ON THE ROAD OF EUROPEAN INTEGRATION: RESULTS AND TENDENCIES(Centre for European Studies, 2012) Morari, CristinaThe article analyses the negotiations between European Union and countries of the Western Balkans and attempts to identify where the major problems are likely to be. The main obstacles in the process of European integration of the countries from Balkan region are analyzed. Also, the paper focuses on the key priorities that Western Balkan countries have to accomplish in order to reach the domestic readiness for their process of European integration. An important goal of the article is to identify some important conclusions for the European roadmap of the Republic of Moldova from experience of the presented states. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]Item EU ROLE IN THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA EUROPEAN INTEGRATION WITHIN EASTERN PARTNERSHIP(Centre for European Studies, 2016) Morari, CristinaThe article presents an analysis of the role of European Union in the European integration process of the Republic of Moldova in the context of Eastern Partnership and it was supported by a Marie Curie International Research Staff Exchange Scheme Fellowship within the 7th European Community Framework Programme. The European integration of the Republic of Moldova is a complex process that implies external and internal efforts, but internal transformations generated by this process are determined primarily by the EU initiatives. This fact is based on both, the necessity of the Republic to correspond to European norms and the EU interest to have reliable and stable partners from economic and political point of view. The Association Agreement, DCFTA, visa liberalization are main bonuses that Moldova has received from EU within Eastern Partnership. At current stage, EU continues to play an important role in domestic transformation and stabilization of the country, by providing assistance and consultation. The interdisciplinary approach and methods as analysis of official documents, comparison and observation gave the possibility to estimate the level and results of how EU establishes and influences both, the agenda of European integration and domestic transformations of the Republic of Moldova. Dimensiunea externă implică factorul UE şi politica de condiţionalitate a UE. Dimensiunea internă include europenizarea, democratizarea şi modernizarea. În acest articol autorul analizează realizarea dimensiunilor externe şi interne în procesul de integrare europeană a Republicii Moldova.Item INTERNAL DIMENSION OF THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA AND GEORGIA’S EUROPEAN INTEGRATION PROCESS: ACHIEVEMENTS AND DIFFICULTIES(CEP USM, 2015) Morari, CristinaRepublic of Moldova and Georgia have signed the Association Agreement with European Union and are firmly directed to obtain the prospect of EU membership. This article seeks to realize an analysis of internal dimension of European integration process of these two countries and name ly focuses on the study of key priorities, tasks, problems and difficulties that Moldova and Georgia meet in order to r each the domestic readiness for realization of their European aspirations.
