The given research analyzes two fundamental aspects in the football game: the throw-in and the corner kick. In the context of contemporary international football, which takes place in conditions of time and space crisis, it is essential that Moldovan football also evolves towards high performance. After theoretical investigations, it is found that few teams and players can meet the requirements of this new game system. In addition, the accumulated theoretical knowledge is not completely assimilated by coaches and players, who exaggeratedly base their actions on their personal experience. Throw - ins are treated tactically incorrectly, due to the lack of a thorough assimilation of principles by coaches and non-compliance with high physical, technical and psychological training requirements. By correctly understanding the importance of these technical elements and by synchronizing the actions in the three compartments responsible for their execution, the game can become more unpredictable for opponents, thus diminishing their opposition.
