Item DISABILITY, A DETERMINING CONDITION OF POVERTY(CEP USM, 2024) Malinche, Diana-MihaelaThis work seeks to identify the relashionships between disability and povert and also empasizes the importance of disability role globally and the interdependence between disability and poverty. In the contemporary period, the subject of socio-professional insertion, the fight against discrimination as well as the improvement of living conditions for people with disabilities have been constantly addressed by international bodies for the protection of human rights, by public authorities at the national level as well as by researchers in the field of social security so as to reduce the risk of impoverishment, respectively of social exclusion for the people with disabilities around the world.Item SITUAȚIA FAMILIILOR DIN REPUBLICA MOLDOVA ÎN COMPONENȚA CĂRORA SUNT PERSOANE CU DIZABILITĂȚI(CEP USM, 2024) Munteanu, ParascoviaThis report is based on the analysis of the data collected within the study” Generations and Gender” conducted in 2020, at the request of the Government of the Republic of Moldova, by the United Nations Population Fund, in partnership with the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection and the National Bureau of Statistics. The conducted analysis reveal that low income and lack of living conditions represents the barriers to family life of the persons with disabilities. Demographic forecasts show an aging process of the population, including in families where both partners are with disabilities. The current system of social services does not respond to all the needs of these families who have members-persons with disabilities. Parents with disabilities have fewer opportunities to access care and educational support services for their children. Families in which at least one partner is with disabilities have a lower level of material and psycho-emotional well-being, than families without partners with disabilities.Item GENERAL OVERVIEW OF THE PHYSICAL EDUCATION IN ISRAEL(CEP USM, 2022) Shama/Daniel, EinasThe current article addresses the issues of the physical education in Israel, with specific attention on people with disabilities. Physical education is a core subject in the education system which is taught from first grade till 12th grade. Physical education teachers can initiate programs and activities in the field. School principals and physical education teachers are requested to submit in writing proposals for carrying out initiatives during the school year to the inspectors of physical education of the districts. Examples of initiatives: physical education week, sports classes, sports days, programs to promote an active and healthy lifestyle, peak days, class consolidation days centered on sports activity and transition programs related to physical education. The assessment of students’ achievements in classes should be carried out by the physical education teachers as part of the teaching, learning and evaluation processes.Item THEORETICAL ASPECTS OF THE PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHERS’ ATTITUDES TOWARDS STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES(CEP USM, 2022) Einas, Daniel (Shama)This article reflects some aspects of research dedicated to the formation of a positive attitude towards the inclusion of children with disabilities in physical education teachers. Exploring the theoretical dimensions of the stated topic, the author reveals the connection between the attitudes of physical education teachers and psycho-pedagogical strategies, based on the identification of sources of negative/ stigmatic attitudes and sources of positive/ promotional attitudes (inclusive). The training program, proposed by the author, contributes to a certain extent to the understanding by teachers of their role in inclusive education, accepting that the inclusion of students with disabilities in regular classes is not a problem but an opportunity.Item FORMING TEACHERS’ POSITIVE ATTITUDES TOWARDS STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES(CEP USM, 2020) Shama/Daniel, EinasThe current article reflect s some results of research that come up with several essential contributions to the implementation of effective integration process within the Physical Education framework, by focusing on the root of altering behaviour by examining and daring to alter stigmatic attitudes which demand taking responsibility on one's own role as aliving model for leading change and eventually,being prepared to restructure the school culture.Based on a special training program me,Physical Education teachers were exposed to and became familiar with the multi diversity attitude changing model and we could see that they actually became able to reconsider and change their attitudes tow ards the students, providing live leadership models for their “regular” pupils to keep making change happen.
