    The fight against gender-based violence is not only a matter of civilization and respect for human rights, but today it is a true “social problem,” as it affects all classes, families, generations, and reference social groups. It represents a serious public health issue, directly impacting the physical and mental well-being of women and indirectly affecting the social and cultural well-being of the entire population. It is a contemporary issue, in terms of both its scale and development over time, often underestimated but simultaneously a phenomenon that is very difficult to combat, as it persists in the interstices of society, often elusive and unsuspected, manifesting more silently in everyday life and managing to present itself as an accidental event even in the perception of the victims themselves.

    MITURILE CĂSNICIEI ÎN RELAȚIILE MARITALE – UN STUDIU EMPIRIC ÎN REPUBLICA MOLDOVA

    În prezentul articol vom analiza miturile căsniciei în cuplurile maritale din Republica Moldova. Miturile din acest studiu se centrează pe mai multe segmente ale vieţii de familie, printre care menţionăm rolul copiilor în familie, relaţiile sexuale, beneficiile pe care bărbaţii şi femeile le au în căsătorie, conviețuirea etc. Rezultatele cercetării indică diferenţele de gen (bărbaţi/femei) în evaluarea miturilor propuse pentru analiză.
