ANTRENAMENTUL FUNCȚIONAL - PARTE ESENȚIALĂ A PREGĂTIRII JUCĂTORILOR DE FOTBAL
    (CEP USM, 2024) Răileanu, Valeriu
Functional training is a series of exercises, with different objects, balls, gymnastic ropes, cones, hoops, other accessories or using your own body weight. The difference is the way the exercises are performed. Definitive in functional training is that the impact of the exercises is not on isolated muscles, but to influence, to develop the movement as a whole. Functional training is the most important part in the first years of training in any sports game, the basis of children’s motor skills. The main idea of functional training is not to train the muscle, but the movement, which represents a more complex structure that is part of the general set of specific skills. The exercises typical of functional training have tangents with the specifics of football, which, being a sports game, is under the influence of numerous muscle groups and the players have a non-standard, situational behavior (it depends on the situation).
