    CONCEPTUAL AND METHODOLOGICAL FRAMEWORK OF IDENTIF YING ADULT’S LEARNING AND EDUCATION NEEDS

    This article addresses the issue of identifying the learning and education needs of adults, primarily non-formal edu- cation. Different concepts and models are analized to identify the learning and education needs of adults. A concept is grounded and a methodology is developed in this regard. The factors that generate the learning and education needs of adults are described in detail: external factors – national educational policies, institutional educational policies, educational reform projects, etc.; internal factors – the need for compensation, recapitulation, complementary knowledge, the need for retraining, the need to realize one's own interests and options, the need to capitalize on free time, etc. The emphasis is on establishing the tools for diagnosing needs, on forms and methods to carry out this process. At the same time, the way of obtaining and interpreting the data is argued. The proposed concept opens new perspectives for the development of formal and non-formal adult education and, first of all, of diversifying adult continuing education programs.

    CONTENT OF LEARNING AND EDUCATION FOR ADULTS FROM CURRICULAR PERSPECTIVE

    This article addresses the issue of design, organization and implementation of adults’ learning and education contents from a curricular perspective in formal and non-formal education. It bases a concept and the structure of contents for adults’ learning related to the fields, profiles and types of formal and non-formal activities, in which adults are included. It identifies a set of principles and procedures specific to the organization of contents in the diversification of forms, technologies and purposes of adults’ training and education. Emphasis is placed on the organization and structuring of contents in relation to the form of educational process organization (formal-non-formal education), the type of learning and education (professionalization, lifelong vocational training, qualification, retraining, personal development, etc.); projected/expected outcomes, largely determined by the educational needs of adults.

    PECULIARITIES OF MANAGING CURRICULUM FOR NON-FORMAL LEARNING AND EDUCATION OF ADULTS

    This article tries to solve a problem which is current and opportune for the development of educational sector, in general, and also for the creation of conditions for adult learning and education. The emphasis is done on substantiating a managerial and pedagogical concept for designing and implementing the non-formal curriculum. The needs, theoretical approaches and methodology for designing the basic curriculum and curricula for training profiles and different types of activities specific to these profiles are described in detail. At the same time, the structure and description of the constituent components of non-formal curriculum are proposed. It also conceptualized a model for monitoring the non-formal curriculum in various forms of operation.
