    Preventing and combating domestic violence are part of the national policy of family protection and support and are an important public health problem in the Republic of Moldova (Law No. 45 of 01.03.2007). This article is dedicated to the legal context of preventing and combating domestic violence, and as a precondition for the protection of children from violence. The analysis of the legal framework, state response to domestic violence cases, including through protection measures an d special approaches, provides a platform for identifying/uppdating the work strategies of specialists in the field.
