    ASELENIZAREA UNEI NAVE COSMICE
(CEP USM, 2009) Brega, Alexandru; Ungureanu, Valeriu
It is considered the problem of the spaceship descending on the Moon (cosmic body without atmosphere) with spending a minimum amount of the fuel. The mathematical model represents an optimal control problem. It’s solved by application of the Lagrange principle and the maximum principle of Pontreaghin. The investigation of the problem with Lagrange method it is difficult because it needs application of numerical methods with a high precision and knowledge in several fields of mathematics and physics, also. However we obtain numerical results that illustrates the possibility for the cosmic ship to descend, respecting the proposed beginning requirements (the initial mass of fuel, height, velocity, etc.). It is presented the program for lunar descending simulation process in Mathematica 7.0. The formulas and numerical results, obtained during the theoretical analysis of the problem, are program fundamentals.

GHID METODIC PENTRU ELABORAREA TEZELOR DE AN, DE LICENȚĂ ȘI DE MASTER
(Editura USM, 2023) Bragaru, Tudor; Ungureanu, Valeriu

Linear discrete optimal and stackelberg control processes with echoes and retroactive future [Articol]
    (2015) Ungureanu, Valeriu
We develop mathematical models of linear discrete optimal and Stackelberg processes with echoes and retroactive future as an extensions and development of Pareto-Nash-Stackel-berg control u2. Investigated problems are solved by straightforward method and Pontryagin's principle. Wolfram Mathematica applications illustrate the value of the obtained results.

NASH EQUILIBRIUM SET FUNCTION IN DYADIC MIXED-STRATEGY GAMES
(Institutul de Matematică şi Informatică al AŞM, 2017) Ungureanu, Valeriu
Dyadic two-person mixed strategy games form the case for which Nash equilibrium sets can be determined simply. In this paper the set of Nash equilibria in a particular game is determined as an intersection of graphs of optimal reaction mappingsof the first and the second players. In contrast to other games, it is obtained not only an algorithm, but a multi-valued Nash equilibrium set function that gives directly as its values the Nash equilibrium sets corresponding to the values of payoff matrix in- stances. To give an expedient form to such a function definition, it is used a code written in the Wolfram language. Additionally, it is also applied a Wolfram language code to prove the main theoretic result.

OPTIMAL AND STACKELBERG CONTROLS OF LINEAR DISCRETE PROCESSES INFLUENCED BY ECHOES
(Valines SRL, 2014) Ungureanu, Valeriu; Deveatîi, Dumitru
We develop mathematical models of Stackelberg control for linear discrete-time processes influenced by echoes as the development of Stackelberg control models and principles|particular models and principles of the more general mathematical models of Pareto-Nash-Stackelberg control introduced by V. Ungureanu in [10]. Application of a straightforward method to solve investigated problems along with the Pontryagin's principle produces important theoretical and practical results. Software benchmarks confirm and illustrate value of the results.

    PARETO-NASH-STACKELBERG GAME AND CONTROL THEORY
    (Springer,Sham, 2018) Ungureanu, Valeriu
This book presents a comprehensive new, multi-objective and integrative view on traditional game and control theories. Consisting of 15 chapters, it is divided into three parts covering noncooperative games; mixtures of simultaneous and sequential multi-objective games; and multi-agent control of Pareto-Nash-Stackelberg-type games respectively. Can multicriteria optimization, game theory and optimal control be integrated into a unique theory? Are there mathematical models and solution concepts that could constitute the basis of a new paradigm? Is there a common approach and method to solve emerging problems? The book addresses these and other related questions and problems to create the foundation for the Pareto-Nash-Stackelberg Game and Control Theory. It considers a series of simultaneous/Nash and sequential/Stackelberg games, single-criterion and multicriteria/Pareto games, combining Nash and Stackelberg game concepts and Pareto optimization, as well as a range of notions related to system control. In addition, it considers the problems of finding and representing the entire set of solutions. Intended for researches, professors, specialists, and students in the areas of game theory, operational research, applied mathematics, economics, computer science and engineering, it also serves as a textbook for various courses in these fields.

(CEP USM, 2017) Pașa, Tatiana; Ungureanu, Valeriu
In this work, we consider a transportation problem on a network with concave cost functions and constrained flows on arcs and expose an approach to its solving via Wolfram language algorithm implementation in Wolfram Mathematica System. Our original results are compared with results obtained by applying built-in Wolfram Language functions on a family of test problems .
