Item THE EFFECTS OF SOME COMPOUNDS OF Mn(II) AND Zn(II) ON THE MULTIPLICATION OF WINE YEAST AND BIOSYNTHESIS OF CARBOHYDRATES IN THE BIOMASS(University of Oradea Publishing House, 2010) Usatîi, Agafia; Chiselita, Oleg; Rudic, Valeriu; Chiselita, Natalia; Molodoi, Elena; Efremova, Nadejda; Gulea, Aurelian; Turta, Constantin; Lozan, VasileThe aim of investigation was to establish the influence of sulphates, acetates and coordination compounds of Mn(II) and Zn(II) as stimulators of the multiplication and growth of wine yeasts strain Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNMN-Y-20 and inducers of carbohydrate biosynthesis in biomass with the following elaboration of new procedures for directed carbohydrate biosynthesis. The study has been revealed that compounds MnSO 4 •4H 2 O, [Mn 2 Ac(2PyTCH)-1,5-Bis(piridin)tiocarbohidrazid- dimanganese-acetate] and ZnLP-2 in optimal concentrations can be recommended as effective regulators of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNMN-Y-20 multiplications, as well as compounds [Mn(Gly) 2 ]Cl 2, (CH 3 COO) 2 Zn and ZnLP-2 in established concentrations - of the carbohydrates biosynthesis in the biomass of studied wine yeast strain. Stimulatory properties of studied compounds of Mn 2+ and Zn 2+ on carbohydrate biosynthesis in biomass of Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNMN-Y-20 can be explained both by the action of metal and by the nature of the ligand. The obtained biomass of wine yeast strain with high content of carbohydrates can be utilized for the obtaining of new bioproducts with the following application in the field of medicine and cosmetology.Item METALLIC COMPOUNDS IN THE PHASE OF THE RETICULATED IONIC POLYMERS(2010) Guțanu, Vasile; Turta, Constantin; Filoti, GeorgeIn this review there are described the results of studying of iron ions state in the ion-exchange resins (KU-2, AN-31, AV-17, Varian – AD, EDE-10P), obtained by Mossbauer spectroscopy. The iron ions have been sorbet on ion exchangers, from aqueous solutions at different temperatures and air conditions. The iron state in polymer phase depends of nature of electron donor groups - amine or carboxylic. To explain the form and temperature dependence of Mossbauer spectra of polymer phase containing iron it was proposed the presence of different compounds like β-FeOOH, α-Fe2O3, and jarosite mineral type compounds: (R4N,H3O)[Fe3(OH)6(SO4)2] or coordination modes: {RCOO-Fe(L4)-OOCR}1 , {R-CO2=Fe(X2)=O2C-R}n, {R-COO-Fe(X4)-OOC-R}n, and {(-NCH2CH2N-)= Fe(X2) =(-NCH2CH2N-)}, where X= H2O,OH-, SO42-., n= from 3- to 1 . In special conditions the ultrafine superparamagnetic particles of Fe2O3 have been obtained.Item MIXED-LIGANDS μ 3 -OXO TRINUCLEAR CARBOXYLATES [Fe 3 O(CH 2 BrCOO) 1.5 (CH 2 ClCOO) 4.5 (H 2 O) 3 ]Br 0.75 Cl 0.25 5H 2 O and [Fe 3 O(BrCH 2 COO) 6 (H 2 O) 3 ] NO 3 ⋅ 2.63H 2 O(Academia de Știinițe a Moldovei, 2008) Shova, Sergiu; Lazarescu, Ana; Gdaniec, Maria; Simonov, Yurii; Turta, ConstantinTwo novel μ3-oxo-centered carboxylate-bridged triiron complexes [Fe3O(BrCH 2COO)6(H2O)3]NO3·2.63H2O (1) and Fe3O(CH2BrCOO)1.5(CH2ClCOO)4.5(H2O)3]Br0.75Cl0.25 5H2O (2) were synthesized and their structures were characterized by X-ray crystallography. The opportunity of mixed-ligand complex formation in iron(III)-bromoacetic acid system was shown. The fi rst co-ordination sphere of the iron atom in compound 2 includes two different carboxylate anions, CH2BrCOO- and CH2ClCOO- in the capacity of syn-syn- bidentate-bridged ligands, while Br- and Cl- anions being in the ratio 1:1, formulate the external sphere of the complex. The IR spectra, thermic analysis and magnetic properties of complexes were studied.Item NEW PHOTOLUMINOPHORE NANOCOMPOSITE BASED ON ORGANIC COMPOUND WITH Eu3+ IONS AND COPOLYMER STYRENE-BUTYLMETHACRILATE(2009) Iovu, Mihail; Andrieș, Andrei; Buzurniuc, Svetlana; Verlan, Victor; Turta, Constantin; Zubareva, Vera; Caraman, MihailNew nanocomposite (NC) material on the base of thenoyltrifluoroacetone (TTA) coordinated with triva- lent europium ions and structured with phenantroline (Eu(TTA)3Phen) and copolymer from styrene and butylmethacrylate (1:1) (SBMA) was prepared. The visible photoluminescence spectra of composites excited with N2-laser (k = 0.337 lm) at room and T = 78 K temperatures were studied. For the Eu(TTA)3- Phen/SBMA nanocomposite material emission bands located at 578, 590, 612, 675 and 705 nm can be attributed to the spin forbidden f–f transitions 5D0 ? 7Fi (i = 0,1,2,3 and 4), respectively. The more inten- sive luminescence band situated at 612 nm with the half width of 3 nm is connected to the Eu3+ ion elec- tronic transition 5D0 ? 7F2. It was shown that the maximum intensity of photoluminescence occurs at the concentration of 15% of the Eu(TTA)3Phen in the SBMA polymer matrix.Item β-ALANINATO-µ3 -OXOTRINUCLEAR IRON(III) CLUSTER AS REGULATOR OF SPIRULINA PLATENSIS BIOCHEMICAL COMPOSITION: CRYSTAL STRUCTURE AND SPECTRAL CHARACTERISTICS(Academia de Ştiinţe a Moldovei, 2006) Lazarescu, Ana; Shova, Sergiu; Bulimaga, Valentina; Turta, Constantinβ-Alanine is known as a non-protein amino acid. The importance of this amino acid is that it is a precursor of vitamin B3 and dipeptide L-carnosine, both of which revealing neuroprotective and detoxificating effects on cytotoxic α, β-aldehydes [1-3]. These biological properties together with coordination ability of amino acid have prompted us to examine the product of β-alanine interaction with iron(III) salt with the purpose of its administratingin cultivation media of Spirulina platensis. The new μ3-oxotrinuclear coordination compound namely [Fe3O(β-Ala)6(H2O)3](NO3)7⋅3H2O (1) was synthesized using earlier described procedure [4] and slightly modified. The title compound has been studied by single crystal X-ray diffraction, IR and 57Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy. The complex 1 crystallizes in monoclinic system, P21/n space group, with following unit cell parameters: a = 11.5141(7), b = 12.0475(8) c = 34.9902(17) Å, β = 95.157(4)º. The three iron(III) ions are joint by the central oxygen (μ3-O2-) and six carboxylate moieties. The apical positions of each metal centers are occupied by water molecules, thereby completing the octahedral coordination sphere. The presence of amino acid ligands in protonated form determined the large charge of cation-complex (+7). Thus, complex 1 presents a typical μ3-oxotrinuclear molecular structure similar to that reported previously [4,5]. The 57Fe Mössbauer spectra (MS) at room temperature and 80K of this compound, consist of two peaks, fitted as one doublet, the parameters of which indicate the presence of iron(III) in high spin state (S=5/2) with quite symmetrical environment. The complex 1 was used as supplement in cultivation media of Spirulina platensis. In concentrations up to 30mg/l the administrated compound increases proportionally the productivity of microalgae and improves the biochemical composition of biomass.
