    TESTAREA CAPACITĂȚII PLANTELOR DE SOIA DE A STIMULA DEGRADAREA POLIETILENEI DE DENSITATE SCĂZUTĂ ÎN SOL

    The ability of soybean plants to stimulate the degradation of low-density polyethylene (lDPe) in the soil was tested in the vegetation experiments under laboratory conditions. The presence of lDPe strips in the soil was shown to have no toxic effects on plants. soybean plants were more efcient in the conditions of the polluted soil, collected from the garbage near sloboziaDușca, and caused the greatest degradation of lDPe (2.3% in 39 days) - in the variant with the bacterization of the seeds with Rhizobium japonicum RB-06. Capacity to ensure the signifcant degradation of lDPe in the real toxic conditions of the polluted soil highlighted a signifcant advantage of soybean plants, related to the development of phytoremediation procedures for land polluted with non-recyclable plastic and other contaminants.
