    This article is a brief analytical study of the information technology sector, which has been recording a prosperous development in the Republic of Moldova during the last 4-5 years, due to the reforms implemented in the country's regulatory framework, as well as to the high qualification of human capital in IT industry, the cost of which is an indisputable factor for attraction of foreign capital inflows. Thus, the main objectives are to analyze the evolution of information technology sector in terms of international accounts statistics, the normative framework along with the premises of its development, the progress achieved by the „Moldova IT Park” and the contribution of foreign investors.
