We studied the influence of coordinative compounds Li2[Mo2O4EDTA].5H2O (1) and Na2[Mo2O4EDTA].5H2O (2) on the ciliate Paramecium caudatum. It was evaluated on the numerical strength and viability, which indicated that there is no distinct cytotoxic difference of complexes (1) and (2), manifesting admissible and moderate toxicity on paramecia.
