    The title of the article represents a field of research based on the approach of the renewable energy sources. It is multidisciplinary and is a part of the national and international energy policy, through the transfer and implementation of the latest technologies in energy engineering, with the primary goal of obtaining high-performance solutions and ensuring unlimited availability of local and national energy resources. The main objective of this project is the capitalization of renewable energy sources, which guarantees real premises for achieving the strategic objectives of increasing security in energy supply, based on diversification of sources and reducing the share of energy imports, sustainable development of the energy sector and environmental protection. Renewable energy sources can contribute primarily to meeting the current electricity needs in disadvantaged rural areas.
