Item CRYSTAL STRUCTURE OF [2-(2-HYDROXYBENZILYDENE)- HYDRAZINECARBOXOAMIDATO(1-)][2-(2-HYDROXYBENZILYDENE)- HYDRAZINECARBOXOAMIDATO(2-)]CHROMIUM MONOHYDRATE(MAIK Nauka/Interperiodica, 2013) Chumakov, Yurie; Tsapkov, V. I.; Petrenko, P. A.; Gulea, Aurelian; Palomares-Sànchez, S. A.The crystal structure of [2-(2-hydroxybenz lydene)hydrazinecarboxoamidato(1-)][2-(2-hydroxy- benzilydene)hydrazinecarboxoamidato(2-)]chromium monohydrate [Cr(HL)(L)]⋅H2O (I), where H2L is salicylaldehyde semicarbazone, is determined. In I the central chromium atom is octahedrally surrounded by two ligand anions in the mer position and coordinated azomethine nitrogen atoms, phenol and carbamide oxygen atoms. In both ligands phenol groups are deprotonated; in one of them the imine group is also deprotonated. In the crystal, complexes of the compound studied are hydrogen bonded into layers along the [100] direction, with π–π stacking being observed between the phenyl rings inside the layer along with the X–Н⋯Cg (π ring) interaction.Item CRYSTAL STRUCTURE OF NITRATE tris(4-ALLYLTHIOSEMICARBAZIDE)- CHROMIUM(III) HYDRATE(Springer Verlag, 2016) Chumakov, Yu. M; Petrenko, P. A.; Graur, V. O.; Tsapkov, V. I.; Gulea, A. P.The crystal structure of nitrate tris(4-allylthiosemicarbazide)chromium(III) hydrate [CrL3](NO3)3(H2O)1.05 (I), where L is 4-allylthiosemicarbazide, is determined. The asymmetric unit of the cell of the crystal structure of I contains a complex of a chromium ion with three bidentate coordinated molecules L. The outer coordination sphere of the central atom contains a disordered water molecule and three nitrate ions. The coordination polyhedron of the chromium atom in complex I is an octahedron. In the crystal, the complexes of the compound under study are joined with each other by the outer-sphere nitrato groups into a three-dimensional branched net of hydrogen bonds.Item CRYSTAL STRUCTURES OF 5-BROMO-2-HYDROXYBENZALDEHYDE, 2-HYDROXY-3-METHOXYBENZALDEHYDE, AND 2-HYDROXYNAPHTHALENE- 1-CARBALDEHYDE 4-(2-PYRIDYL) THIOSEMICARBAZONES(MAIK Nauka/Interperiodica, 2014) Chumakov, Yu. M.; Petrenko, P. A.; Codita, T. B.; Tsapkov, V. I.; Poirier, D.; Gulea, Aurelian5-Bromo-2-hydroxybenzaldehyde,2-hydroxy3-ethoxybenzaldehyde,and 2-hydroxynaphthalene-1-carbaldehyde 4-(2-pyridyl) thiosemicarbazones (I–III, respectively) were synthesized and theircrystal structures were determined by X-ray diffraction. All these molecules are almost planar. The presenceof bulky substituents at the terminal nitrogen atoms of these molecules does not lead to changes in the conformation of the thiosemicarbazide moiety. Depending on the nature of substituents in the phenol rings, thecrystals are composed of either centrosymmetric dimers (I) or infinite chains (II and III. In the concentration range of 10–5–10–7 mol/L, thiosemicarbazones I–III selectively inhibit the growth of human myeloidleukemia HL60 cells.
