    (CEP USM, 2023) Pîntea, Maria
In the paper there are presented results of investigations concerning the susceptibility of different apricot genotypes (117 moldovan apricot varieties and selections, as well as introduced from different ecologo-geografical zones) to Monilinia laxa, Cytospora cincta, Verticillium albo-atrum and Stigmina carpophila, cultivated in in pedo-climatic conditions of the Republic of Moldova. A high manifestation of susceptibility to noticed pathogens where observed in some genotypes introduced from France, Italy, Canada etc. Some promising genotypes for utilization in the future apricot breeding and genetics programs, as well as for implementation for testation in industrial culture regarding resistance to mentioned diseases have been emphasized.

Diferenţierea mugurilor de rod la soiurile de nuc cu fructificare terminală şi laterală
(CEP USM, 2024-10-07) Pîntea, Maria; Tăbîrță, L.
Organogenesis processes during development of walnut buds and pistillate (female) flowers structures of 16 dichogamous perspective varieties and selections (local and introduced too) were thoroughly investigated. Difference within terminal and lateral fructification of genotypes there are evaluated. The influence of some biotic and abiotic factors on the processes of morphogenesis of pistillate flower buds was established. Investigations have provided valuable information regarding selection of the appropriate parent varieties for breeding programs, as well as regarding optimization of nut production in the industrial orchards.
