    MODERNIZATION OF SOCIAL SERVICES IN THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA – KEY FACTOR TO AN EFFECTIVE SYSTEM OF SOCIAL WORK

    The author makes a critical analysis of the current sistem of social services, characterized by inadequate development, centering on intervention in difficult situations rather on prevention etc. The author analyzes Government steps taken in creating Integrated Sistem of Social Services, but promotes the necessity of modernizing this system by some concret action. In conclusion the author mentions that the Republic of Moldova is fully engaged in the process of adjusting to European values and standards, the reform of social services being in this context one of the most important.

Articolul vine cu descrierea drepturilor fundamentale ale copiilor, accentul fiind pus pe respectarea drepturilor sociale ale copiilor în perioada pandemiei Covid-19 la nivel național,răspunsului autorităților și instituțiilor statului la aceste provocări și propune un set de recomandări la acest capitol.

    VIOLENŢA DOMESTICĂ ÎN VIZIUNEA TINERILOR

    În articol sunt analizate datele studiului Opinia tinerilor din Republica Moldova privitor la violenţa domestică desfăşurat în perioada 1-15 martie 2015, pe un eşantion de 120 de studenţi ai Universităţii de Stat din Moldova. Sunt prezentate opiniile studenţilor referitoare la violenţa în familie, cauzele ce stau la baza fenomenului dat consecinţele, precum şi acţiunile tinerilor cu privire la combaterea acestui flagel.

    VULNERABILITATEA FEMEILOR UCRAINENE REFUGIATE ÎN REPUBLICA MOLDOVA: CONSTATĂRI ȘI PERSPECTIVE

    The article highlights the vulnerability of Ukrainian refugee women in the Republic of Moldova following the conflict in Ukraine, presenting relevant findings and perspectives. Women and children constitute 82% of this refugee population, being considered vulnerable groups exposed to increased risks during times of crisis. Among the most vulnerable are single women or women with children, economically vulnerable individuals, survivors of violence, people with disabilities, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, Roma women and girls, and other vulnerable groups. The primary needs of Ukrainian refugee women, as identified by the author, include access to essential resources and services such as medical care, legal assistance, psychological counseling, and labor market integration. Verbal and physical abuse, discrimination, and language barriers in job-seeking represent major challenges. Additionally, psychological and emotional abuse from partners persists, generating desires for separation. Recommendations for improving the situation of refugee women focus on information, education, awareness, personal development programs and economic empowerment, access to services for well-being and resilience, as well as measures to reduce risks.
