IMAGINEA LUI CONSTANTIN BRÂNCOVEANU ÎN LITERATURA ROMÂNĂ VECHE
    (CEP USM, 2021) Lupașcu, Victoria
Voivode C. Brâncoveanu is a complex and recognized personality due to his political strategies and the relationship maintained with neighbours. The ruler of Wallachia ( 1688-1714 )had been showed many acts of courage for 25 years, his image is found in the oeuvre of the most illustrious Wallachian chroniclers as Radu Popescu and Radu Greceanu. The first chronicle is dedicated to his glorious personality and his efforts that are obviously worthy praised, the second one empathises the differences between C. Brâncoveanu and Cantacuzino, despite the fact that the last chronicle is anonymous, it shows a detailed fall of our glorified historical personality. One of the most important figure of the 17-18th centuries, C. Brâncoveanu is still recognised as a brave and qualified head of Wallachia.
