In this work, the effect of adding the minor component to the basic components of the sex pheromone of the plum fruit moth was evaluated in field trials in plum orchard. The addition of 75% of the minor component to the pheromonal composition increases the male capture of the plum fruit moth Grapholita funebrana Tr. by up to 25.8%, a result comparable to the one obtained the previously.

In this work, the effect of adding the minor component (C14H29OH) to the major components of the oriental fruit moth sex pheromone Z8-12:AC and E8- C12:AC was studied. The use of pheromone compositions with the addition of the minor component in increasing concentrations to the base composition of the oriental fruit moth sex pheromone on dispensers resulted in an amplification of the biological effectiveness by increasing the capture of males in pheromone traps by about 48% in experimental tests in the plum orchard .
ROLUL COMPONENŢILOR MINORI ASUPRA EFICIENŢEI FEROMONULUI SEXUAL AL VIERMELUI MERELOR

In this paper, the influence of the addition of minor components: trans-8, trans-10-dodecadienal; trans-9-dodecenol; tetradecanol on the biological effectiveness of the basic component (Basic component E8,E10-C12OH) of the synthetic sex pheromone of the codling moth Cydia pomonella L. was evaluated. Pheromonal compositions have been prepared by adding different concentrations of these minor components to the basic component. The best result in field tests was shown by the variant where rubber dispensers contained 4% of each minor component.
