    The electronic book is the product of the postmodern culture and of a civilization based on technologies. An on-linebook is the product of a cult of book and media culture. Despite of its criticism this type of book is established, more and more promoting the postmodern idea of hypertext, intertext, fragmentarity. The electronic book substitutes the traditional one announcing a new epoch of human culture and civilization.
