    With the adaptation of the normative framework to the needs and realities in which we live, the Law on the National Integrity Authority as well as the Law on the declaration of wealth and personal interests, the control mechanism was established on compliance both by civil servants and those of public dignity of the legal regime of declaration of wealth and personal interests. The adoption of the package of laws regarding the modification of the normative framework of integrity was conditioned by the unblocking of financial assistance for the Republic of Moldova by the European Union. So, with the reformation of the National Integrity Commission (CNI) into the National Integrity Authority (ANI), one of the missions of the National Integrity Authority is to ensure integrity in the exercise of the public office or the office of public dignity and to prevent corruption by carrying out wealth control and personal interests and respecting the legal regime of conflicts of interest, incompatibilities, restrictions and limitations.
