The research aimed to elucidate the differences regarding the growth rate between the individuals obtained as a result of intraspecifc hybridization and the non-hybridized parental forms. In the descendants obtained by hybridization, a signifcant variation of the parameters can be seen, compared to the non-hybridized specimens. starting from the very frst days, a signifcant increase in weight is observed in the hybrid fsh. already from the initial stage, the hybrid offspring exceed the length of the non-hybrid offspring by about 40 %. The application of these measures is a prerequisite for ensuring the epizootic safety of international trade in aquaculture items. From a legislative point of view, this practice was introduced in the early 90s of the 20th century and has proven to be reliable and effective.
