Item Efectul îngrășământului Foliar pistachio mix plus NPA asupra randamentului și calității fructelor de cireș(CEP USM, 2024) Balan, Valerian; Vamasescu, Sergiu; Russu, Stanislav; Buza, Cornel; Talpalaru, DumitruThe objective of the study is to determine the effect of the Pistachio Mix Plus NPA foliar fertilizer based on nanotechnology on the yield and quality of cherry fruits. The research was carried out on the Ferrovia cherry variety, grafted on Gisela 6, planted at a distance of 4x1.5 m. During the years 2022-2024, the foliar fertilizer was administered in 4 phenophases of cherry flower bud development in the dose of 2.5 l/ha. Applying Pistachio Mix Plus NPA in three phenophases (white-pink bud, petal shaking, beginning of budding), fruit yield increased by 14.423.5%, and their weight increased by 4-18.1% in the treated varieties in relation to the witness.Item Intensitatea luminii în coroana pomilor de cireş formaţi după coroana fus zvelt(CEP USM, 2024-10-07) Balan, Valerian; Bilici Inna; Russu, Stanislav; Buza, Cornel; Talpalaru, DumitruThe research was carried out on the Kordia cherry variety, grafted on Gisela 6, planted at a distance of 4x1 m. The 7-year-old trees are led by the slender spindle crown with the rows located from north to south. The light intensity in the crown of the trees was measured at the end of July, in clear weather from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., every 2 hours, with the universal pyranometer M-80 and the galvanometer GSA-1. Based on the obtained data, the light intensity was calculated in the center of the crown, along the axis and in the area where the crown joins, both in the East and West of the row of trees, as well as in the shadow of the crown.Item New training systems for high-density cherry plantations [Articol](Editura USM, 2025) Balan, Valerian; Bilici, Inna; Șarban, Vasile; Russu, Stanislav; Buza, Cornel; Talpalaru, DumitruThis research evaluated vegetative growth, yield and fruit quality of different cherry varieties using different crown-forming systems and planting densities. The experimental orchards were established in the central (2015) and northern (2018) areas of the Republic of Moldova, using Black Star, Regina, Summit and Sweet Sharetta varieties, grafted on Gisela 6 rootstock. For each variety- rootstock combination and training system, varying densities were established, ranging from 1250 trees/ha (for thin-stem, cup, Kym Green Bush) to 2500 trees/ha (for thin-stem, improved thin-stem, structured vertical axis). Black Star, grown under the thin-stem system, obtained the highest yields between 9.39 and 10.92 t/ha at the age of 7-10 years, significantly exceeding the values obtained for the crowns cup (8.11-9.67 t/ha) and Kym Green Bush (7.65-8.22 t/ha). For varieties Regina, Summit and Sweet Sharetta planted at 4x1 m spacing, the improved thin spindle crown shape had a modest impact on productivity, but provided important benefits on fruit size uniformity along the entire length of the axis.
