Emotions facilitate our optimal decisions, privileging the really important elements and accelerating the decision-making process; In addition, it stimulates the retention of these elements in memory, in order to guide even faster future reactions. Moreover, they regulate social interactions, emotional expressions, communicate directly to those around us our inner state and suggest optimal ways to communicate with us.
