At the same time, this system controls not only the seasonal variation of the level of the river but also forms a new hydrological and hydrochemical regime of the river as a result of the controlled discharge of water through the Novosdniestrovsk barrage. The level of impact of this process on the quality of waters was the main objective of current research. With this purpose during the years 2005-2006 there were performed investigations in the segment of the River starting with buffer reservoir (200 m below the barrage) at Naslavcea and ending with c. Dubasari (100 m below the Dubasari barrage). Water samples were collected in 6 different section lines. The parameters measured included: water temperature, pH, Eh, rH, hydrogen peroxide content, OH radicals content, dissolved oxygen, total amounts of iron, copper, soluble forms of nitrogen compounds, COD, BOD5 and others. A special attention was drawn to the analysis of the redox state of waters, the content of OH radicals and other parameters that were affected by man-made systems or activities. In the frames of the project 8 expeditions were carried out.Item Compoziția chimică, procese de poluare și autopurificare a fluviului Nistru în porțiunea barajul Dubăsari (amonte r. Răut) – or. Perioada anilor 2020 – 2022(Editura USM, 2023) Gladchi, Viorica; Blonschi, Vladislav; Bunduchi, Elena; Lis, AngelaArticolul include rezultatele monitoringului apelor fluviului Nistru în porțiunea barajul de la Dubăsari, amonte vărsare a r. Răut – or. Vadul lui Vodă, aval de vărsare a r. Ichel pe parcursul anilor 2020-2022. Sunt analizate parametrii hidrochiici tradiționali, care reprezintă dinamica macroelementelor, mineralizării și indexul hidrochimic al apelor fluviului. La fel, a fost analizat regimul de oxigen al apelor, variația diferitor forme minerale ale elementelor biogene, precum și gradul de poluare a apelor cu substanțe organice de diferit tip. Rezultatele obținute indică influența apelor afluentului Răut asupra parametrilor hidrochimici al Nistrului în porțiunea monitorizată și un grad avansat de poluare a apelor fluviului cu substanțe organice greu degradabile, care sunt în mare parte de origine antropogenă.Item Content of harmful and potentially harmful substances in conventional cigarette smoke and in tobacco heating system TSH 2.2. Comparison of the scientific results of independent research and Philip Morris International(CEP USM, 2024) Gonța, Maria; Gladchi, Viorica; Bunduchi, ElenaIn this paper, the content of harmful and potentially harmful constituents (HPHCs) in conventional cigarette smoke and in the Tobacco Heating system 2.2 (THs 2.2) product, developed by Philip Morris International (PMI) and marketed under the brand name IQOs (I Quit Ordinary smoking), as well as for conventional 3R4F cigarettes, was examined using statistical data obtained from studies of scientifc papers published between 2015 and 2022. Based on the analysis of the results presented by independent and industry-sponsored studies, it was found that the harmful and potentially harmful constituents (HPHC) are not entirely eliminated from the HTP aerosol, so these products are still not without risks for the population. The data obtained for all analyzed chemicals, with the exception of the substance with order number 30, n-nitrosoanabasine, support the theory put out in this study, according to at least one group or multiple groups of independent experts. The kinetic indicators of natural water quality are presented as well.Item EVALUAREA CAPACITĂŢII DE AUTOPURIFICARE A APELOR LACULUI DĂNCENI ÎN CONDIŢIILE DE CREŞTERE A CONCENTRAŢIEI DE CISTEINĂ(CEP USM, 2020) Bunduchi, Elena; Borodaev, RuslanItem Evaluarea capacității sistemului redox de autopurificare a apelor lacului Dănceni la poluarea cu tioli și vitamine(Editura USM, 2023) Bunduchi, Elena; Borodaev, Ruslan; Gladchi, Viorica; Lis, AngelaPe exemplul apelor lacului Dănceni și ale unor substanțe din grupul tiolilor (cisteina, glutationul) și a formelor farmaceutice ale vitaminelor din complexul B (B6, B9, B12), în concentrații care modelează situația de poluare în apele naturale, s-au efectuat cercetări pentru a stabili încărcătura de poluant care poate fi acceptată de apele naturale, astfel încât acestea să elimine poluarea și să-și mențină capacitatea de autopurificare. Procesele de autopurificare au fost monitorizate după parametri ca: pHul, gradul de saturație în oxigen, oxidabilitatea permanganatometrică, capacitatea de inhibiție. Cercetările au demonstrat că potențialul de autopurificare al sistemului acvatic natural devine vulnerabil la concentrațiile de tioli de ordinul ≥ 0.8·10-4 M, iar în cazul vitaminelor aceste concentrații constituie factori declanşatori ai situaţiei de „redoxtoxicitate” ireversibile în sistemele acvatice naturale.
